So about two months ago, I did a shoot with one of my closest friends.  However, because of school and work, I did not have time to edit until this weekend. I've been wanting to create looks that were more film like. After some experimentation, I realized how some are very earthy looking and I like that. It feels like me. Of course these are just personal works. I have no time to start taking commissions and stuff like I wanted to. I hope this summer will give me the freedom to start a small business until then I'm working on my editing techniques.

I found the guts in me to make a fashion blog on tumblr. It is where I will be posting all things fashion, style and beauty that is inspiring to me and hopefully to you too. I do have intentions of posting some of my outfits in the future.

"Little Me" a self portrait

I'm such a horrible blogger. I have so many pictures I haven't even edited yet. I did a few and I'm debating whether or not I should post them because I have been experimenting with a new look. The photo above is an example of it. I've been looking at film photography (not gonna lie, I miss taking film photos) and wanted to create curves with a certain film look. Though, I have never shot pictures with it (because I'm too cheap), I love the look Kodak Portra film and so this editing technique was inspired by it. It  doesn't look anything like it...so you can tell its a work in progress. I have photos from last two months that I've been experimenting with and I'm currently debating whether I should post them or not. Not gonna lie, since I haven't posted in a while I'm not as confident when it comes to posting material here. Hopefully, I have not lost all you guys these past few months. I'll try to post as often as I can, most likely on weekends.

When I come around

Hello!
It's been months since I've last posted. So much has happened in my life that it has kept me from photographing. I'm currently back in Vegas for uni and of course still working. Most importantly though, recently, I purchased a canon T3i! The quality is fantastic. My goal is to revamp my photography this year and produce better work. Last week, I had a test shoot with my friend Sylvie. Here are the results.

*let me know how the quality is because I had to adjust the resolution and stuff on my comp. Hopefully, the colors are right when you see them.

I'll more work soon. I'm just happy to be back. :)

Hello! I'm back in Nevada after my spring break. Plus, I have new photos to share.

This was a very brief shoot I had with one of my very good friends. It is also my first experiment with fashion photography in mind. For a while now I've been getting bored with doing self portraiture and wanted to start creating stories with other people in my photographs. After looking through work of my favorite fashion photographers, designers and magazines I'm very inspired. Honestly, I don't know a lot about fashion photography; except it emphasizes clothes, beauty and style. So I have a lot to learn. I think this change will push me to be more creative with my work and give me a sense of direction. This doesn't mean I won't be doing fine art/self portraiture anymore because it is part of who I am.
